  • Ultrasound Image Orientation
  • Presenter: Dr. Musarrat Hasan

  • Objective: Dr. Musarrat Hasan will cover the basics of ultrasound image orientation, including anatomy, common terminology, and the principles of image acquisition and interpretation.
  • Role of Ultrasound in the Emergency Room
  • Presenter: Dr. Musarrat Hasan
  • Time: 10:40 – 11:10 am PST
  • Objective: This session will focus on the application of ultrasound in emergency settings, highlighting its role in the rapid diagnosis and management of acute conditions.
  • Tips and Tricks of Breast Ultrasound
  • Presenter: Professor Saba Sohail
  • Time: 11:10 – 11:40 am PST
  • Objective: Professor Saba Sohail will share advanced techniques and practical tips for conducting and interpreting breast ultrasounds, emphasizing common pitfalls and diagnostic challenges.
  • Question and Answer Session
  • Panel: All Faculty Members
  • Time: 11:40 – 12:00 pm PST
  • Objective: Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the panel of experts, ask questions, and discuss clinical cases and scenarios relevant to the topics covered.
  • Tea Break

  • Hands-on Practice: Live on Mannequin/Patient
  • Time: 12:15 – 12:50 pm PST
  • Objective: Participants will receive practical training and hands-on experience in performing ultrasound examinations on mannequins and live patients under the guidance of the faculty members.
  • Closing Remarks and Shields Distribution
  • Presenter: Dr. Naushin Iqbal
  • Time: 12:50 – 1:00 pm
  • Objective: Dr. Naushin Iqbal will conclude the workshop with a summary of key points, acknowledge the contributions of the faculty, and distribute shields to the participants as a token of appreciation.
